Call with Austin, 21 Sep 2026: what was agreed

Austin and Vinson · 21 September 2026 · agreed actions

61 minutes, Austin and Vinson. Three documents were walked through: the speed and CRO review with its new sections, the Kamil and Kevin briefs, and the 90-day report for leadership. Only items that were settled on the call are listed. Anything Austin said he wants to think about, test first, or discuss on a longer call is in the last section and is not in any brief.

Attribution correction from the call: the speed work on the test site (deferred tags, hero video after load, animations after load) was done by Kamil, not Kevin. The GTmetrix account the results came from is also Kamil's. Briefs and the report have been corrected.

Austin

  1. Send the cleaned-up context.md with his notes. He said his AI had not picked up several things he had told us; this is the fix.
  2. Send the confirmed creator list, one row per creator: deal type (flat, CPM, revenue share, recoup), amount paid, date paid, start date. This fills the creator section of the report and lets the Deals P&L carry dates.
  3. Confirm Vinson's access to the Google Ads account. Austin believes it was shared; Vinson could not see it on the call. No campaigns have run.
  4. Raise Linear tickets for the dashboard defects he saw on the call, starting with the money-owed figure at the top of the page, which he called inherently wrong.
  5. Review the three updated documents (report, Kamil brief, Kevin brief) and send feedback before they go out. The report goes to leadership tomorrow, 22 Sep, without an announcement.
  6. Proofread before sending, both ways. Austin asked for one level of proofread on everything we send each other so neither side spends time cleaning up.

Facts Austin supplied on the call, now in the documents: sign-in method split Google 67%, Discord 25%. The FAQ trial line stays; the trial is offered on purpose and hardly anyone uses it. Stripe for 22 Aug to 21 Sep: $53,409 gross volume, $49,159 net.

Kevin

  1. Confirm whether tracking parameters (plan, campaign tags, click IDs) survive Clerk account creation into Stripe. First priority; Austin agreed it outranks any speed work. Austin is also checking on his side.
  2. Add the events between button click and purchase: sign-up viewed, started, failed, completed; plan selected; purchase completed. Confirm the checkout pages still fire the pixel purchase events now that the pixels load late.
  3. Dashboard: split Trialing into real 7-day trials and creator or lifetime comps, and fix the caption (the trial is intentional; the date was 5 Aug).
  4. Dashboard: reconcile Cash Collected ($52,755) to Stripe ($53,409 gross, $49,159 net) for 22 Aug to 21 Sep and state the definition on the tile.
  5. Dashboard: the money-owed figure, to Austin's Linear ticket.
  6. Search Console and GA4 into the platform daily (Austin's request from 19 Sep, unchanged).

Removed from Kevin's brief: all speed items (done on the test site by Kamil, or parked for a later note).

Kamil

  1. Purchase button in the header, visible on every page, at every scroll position and at every window size. Existing label and destination; the label question is separate.
  2. Pricing card repeated at the bottom of the page. Austin: "top and bottom".
  3. The whole 50% widget clickable, not just the button. Austin: "got to fix that straight away".
  4. Game logos re-exported (528 x 792 WebP, under 40 KB each).
  5. Hero video poster image; Kamil produces the still himself.
  6. Small fixes: pricing-card contrast, heading order and aria-labels, the "processess" typo.
  7. From 19 Sep, unchanged: sign-in screen layout; check the "Subscribe now" button on the post-download page.

Removed from Kamil's brief: one label for all buttons (see below), FAQ trial line (stays), "How it works" step 1 (Austin: bloat), sign-up form changes (Austin: the Clerk form is correct as is; the claim in the review was wrong).

Parked: not settled, not in any brief
