SEO reporting and analytics: spec for Kevin

Reporting and analytics spec for Kevin · 1 October 2026

1 October 2026 · from Vin and Som · for Austin's sign-off today and Kevin's queue from Monday

What this is. One SEO page in Hypertune's analytics that tracks every core search metric against the day-90 targets, so the bi-weekly report is pulled, not compiled by hand. It goes into Kevin's scope now, because the first report is due Fri 16 October and every page we ship from the 12th needs to be measurable from day one.

What already exists. The analytics platform already holds Search Console (daily, query, page, country and device, from 27 August), GA4 (from 31 August), our own site tracking (every page view with referrer and landing page), Stripe customers and subscriptions, and the signup survey. Phase 1 below needs no new data feeds.

2. The SEO page

One page, with these blocks, each showing the target line where one exists:

  1. Headline: non-branded clicks a month against 600; paying customers from search this period against last; pages known to Google against all.
  2. Search Console and Bing: branded and non-branded clicks and impressions by week; Bing alongside Google.
  3. Keywords: keyword map table with position, change since last report, impressions, clicks, target page; striking-distance count and top-5 count.
  4. Brand trust searches: CTR against the 10% target.
  5. Pages: each new page with indexed status, impressions, clicks, visits, signups and paying customers.
  6. Money: paying customers who first arrived from search, by engine, country and landing page, with the match rate.
  7. Authority: Domain Rating, referring domains, new and lost links, press link status, competitor comparison.
  8. Speed: Core Web Vitals by page group.
  9. AI: visits from AI assistants; monthly share of voice.
  10. Change log markers on the charts.

Bi-weekly export: a one-page PDF or link of the above every second Friday, starting Fri 16 October. Bobby adds commentary.
