For Austin and Som. One hour, straight after the Bobby call. Everything is on this page, with screenshots taken on 2 October, so we just scroll.
We went through the first audit on 21 September and the competitor report on 23 September. This is what has changed since.
| 21 September | Today | |
|---|---|---|
| Sitemap | Not submitted | Submitted 1 Oct; 13 of 15 pages in Google |
| Homepage FPS claim | "Up to 41%" | "Up to 60%" |
| Free trial | Offered in the FAQ | Replaced by the 7-day money-back guarantee |
| "What Hypertune changes" and "how to uninstall" | Not answered | Answered in the /technology FAQ |
| Searches without our name | 254 clicks in four weeks | 229 in five weeks; no change yet, because the pages that move this aren't live |
Corrected numbers: search volumes now come from Ahrefs, which splits out similar searches. For example, "fps booster" is 1,600 US searches a month, not 33,100. Hone's Google traffic is about 98,000 a month, not 640,000, and much of it is Roblox code posts.
637 in September: Google 69%, Bing 22%, Brave 8%. YouTube brought 373. Nearly all of them landed on the homepage.
229 of 13,338 clicks came from searches without our name. "hypertune" on its own is 9,023. Search Console's own filters show more, because they count misspellings like "hyper tune" as non-branded.
All four are rated easy by Ahrefs. New titles and the how-to guide target them.
| Search | US a month | Worldwide | Our position |
|---|---|---|---|
| how to optimize pc for gaming | 2,500 | 4,600 | 9 |
| pc optimization for gaming | 300 | 800 | 7 |
| pc optimization | 250 | 1,100 | 8.5 |
| pc optimizer for gaming | 150 | 500 | 9.3 |
AI answers repeat whichever version they find.
Austin, 2 Oct: the help centre isn't really in use, so no action for now (decision 2).
Unless we have those in writing, AI answers repeat it as fact, and Google Ads can flag it on landing pages. It is also in the /tutorial search description.
Austin, 2 Oct: keep it for now; Hypertune is in conversations with them (decision 1).
US searches a month, from Ahrefs. The full list of 437 is in the data workbook.
Win first (90 days)
| Search | Searches a month | The page that targets it |
|---|---|---|
| is hypertune legit, is hypertune safe | 110, 20 | "Is Hypertune safe" page, 12 Oct |
| hypertune reviews | 50 | Press page with reviews |
| hypertune price, free trial | 10 (208 clicks already) | Pricing page |
| how to optimize pc for gaming | 2,500 | How-to guide, 16 Oct |
| pc optimization, pc optimization for gaming, pc optimizer for gaming | 250, 300, 150 | Homepage titles, 9 Oct |
Next (6 to 12 months)
| Search | Searches a month | The page that targets it |
|---|---|---|
| razer cortex | 12,000 | Hypertune vs Razer Cortex |
| hone gg, hypertune vs hone | 150 | Hypertune vs Hone |
| fps booster | 1,600 | Homepage and the fair comparison |
| how to increase fps, how to get more fps | 700, 300 | "How to increase FPS" guide |
| input lag | 700 | Input lag guide |
Game pages, shooters only, in order of demand. "Stuttering" is searched as much as "fps boost", so every page leads with the stutter fix.
Everything is free except Ahrefs, which we've bought. No new tools are needed.
| Tool | What it's for | Who |
|---|---|---|
| Google Search Console | Searches, clicks, positions, which pages Google has | Vin, Som, Bobby |
| Bing Webmaster Tools | The same for Bing (22% of paying customers from search) | Som sets up, Austin verifies Mon 5 Oct |
| Ahrefs | Volumes, competitors, links, a scheduled crawl of our site | Vin, Som |
| PageSpeed Insights and Rich Results Test | Phone speed; whether Google reads our markup | Som, Bobby |
| SEO page in our analytics | Every target on one page; the bi-weekly report comes from it | Kevin builds, from Fri 9 Oct |
| AI content framework | Briefs and first drafts in Bobby's structure | Som, from Mon 12 Oct |
| Shared tracker | Every finished item and the log of what went live | Som keeps it, from Mon 5 Oct |
| Linear | The only route to Kamil and Kevin | Austin |
| Who | What they do |
|---|---|
| Som | Writes all the content, the keyword map, the research and the change lists |
| Bobby | SEO lead: strategy, technical SEO, schema, an SEO check on every draft, reports, directories and outreach. Doesn't write content |
| Hoa and Vin | Check every piece by hand before it reaches Austin: facts, prices, claims, links |
| Vin | Final OK, priorities, access, Google Ads and YouTube |
| Austin | Signs off claims and the homepage. The only route to Kamil and Kevin, in Linear |
| Kamil / Kevin | Build the website changes / build the SEO page in analytics |
| Story Mob | Gets links added to the press coverage |
How content moves: Som drafts, then Bobby checks it for SEO, then Hoa and Vin check it by hand. Austin signs off and submits it in Linear, Kamil publishes, and Bobby asks Google to re-crawl it.

One Linear ticket, ready to paste: From Austin to Kamil: SEO website changes.
| # | Change | Why | By |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Load the homepage's main image first | The main reason the homepage is slow on phones | Fri 9 Oct |
| 2 | One H1 heading per page | /expert-tuning has eight and /technology six | Fri 9 Oct |
| 3 | Move the leftover FAQ markup from the homepage to /technology | The FAQ section is gone but its markup isn't | Fri 9 Oct |
| 4 | Four Cloudflare settings: email links, Bing alerts, the www redirect, AI crawlers | Broken pages and crawler errors | Fri 9 Oct |
| 5 | Publish the new titles and descriptions (from Som, Wed 7 Oct) | Moves the 7th to 9th searches up | Fri 9 Oct |
| 6 | Add the schema code (from Bobby, Wed 7 Oct) | Stops the mix-up with hypertune.com | Fri 9 Oct |
| 7 | Fix one broken image; complete the link preview tags | Proper previews on Discord and X | Fri 9 Oct |
| 8 | Redirect /what-hypertune-changes and /uninstall to /technology; clean the sitemap. The BIOS guides stay | Google still lists the removed pages | Mon 12 Oct |
| 9 | Permanent redirects for /game/valorant, /game/fortnite, /game/rust | Fortnite and Rust show "page not found" | Mon 12 Oct |
| 10 | Keep the logging address out of Google; portal and affiliate waiting on decision 6 | Internal addresses show in search | Mon 12 Oct |
Kevin: nothing new. Confirm phase 1 of the SEO page is live Fri 9 Oct.
Decided with Austin on the call, Friday 2 October.
| # | Decision | Austin's answer | What we do now |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The "Trusted by Riot, EAC, BattlEye, Valve" line | Keep it for now. Hypertune is in conversations with them; we accept the risk | The homepage line stays. Som's new titles and descriptions don't add any new "trusted by" wording |
| 2 | The help centre | Leave it. It isn't really used; it's a system page | No action. Som drops it from the fix list |
| 3 | The five BIOS guides | Keep them and improve them. They're for signed-in users and they matter, so no redirect | Som improves each one where needed: a main heading, a clear answer, links from /technology. Kamil's item 8 now covers only /what-hypertune-changes and /uninstall |
| 4 | Game pages | Yes: CS2 live Fri 16 Oct, then two a week to the end of October | Som drafts CS2 by Mon 12 Oct; about six game pages live by 30 Oct |
| 5 | The FPS claim | "Up to 60%", as in the press release | "Up to 60%" stays the one figure everywhere |
| 6 | Portal and affiliate sites in Google | Open: Austin decides from the links below | Kamil's item 10 waits for the answer |
| 7 | A Microsoft Store listing | Not covered on the call | Raise next week |
| 8 | Outreach mailbox and approval | Next week, once Bobby says what outreach he needs and what we automate | Decide after Bobby's reply |
| 9 | Kamil's and Kevin's hours | No hours needed. They'll get it done | The dates stand as they are |
The links for decision 6. Both are signed-in areas that show in Google today:
Our recommendation is still to keep both out of Google, unless you want creators to find the affiliate sign-up through search.
