From Vinson · 25 September 2026 · for Austin, Gavin, Kamil and the design team
This is the flow-by-flow companion to the email plan: who does what. For each flow it shows what is live today, what the numbers say, and the replacement: trigger, timing, and the full copy for every email. Gavin builds from this page. The design team builds the two templates from the plan. Kamil supplies the data marked Needs Kamil.
1. The buttons go to Discord, a tutorial video or "finish setting up", not to the action.
2. The words are inside images, so with images off most emails are blank.
3. People get the wrong email: trial emails go to people who never chose a trial, trial cancellers are told they "canceled your subscription", and the cancel emails written for each reason have never sent.
1. Most people who sign up and don't buy are not in Klaviyo at all. Of 50 randomly picked Stripe accounts that never started a trial or paid, 49 were not in Klaviyo. Stripe added 8,179 such accounts in September to the time of this audit. They never get a single email.
2. About 6% of paying customers are suppressed in Klaviyo (6 of a random 100), about 480 people. Every live message is currently marketing, so a suppressed profile gets none of them. Details are in the trial users report.

IB // Stripe payment failed -- · Un6Nkh
Triggers on every failed payment, with no re-entry rule, so each Stripe retry starts it again. The flow logged 26,802 message recipients in 90 days. That is a send count across its messages, not 26,802 unique people.
| Sent (90 days) | Clicked | What it is | |
|---|---|---|---|
| At once · "Ugh oh, your payment declined" | 13,544 | 26 (0.2%) | Says "try re-entering a different card" but has no link to do it. The only links go to Discord, three times. Opens "It's APEX AKA Austin". Typos in the subject and the footer image ("It;s time to start winning agian"). |
| Day 1 · "Some ways you can still enjoy Hypertune" | 13,176 | 5 (0.04%) | "Feel like there's a mistake? Join Discord", over a screenshot of Discord. |
| Day 2 · "Enjoy a free month of Hypertune" | 82 | 0 | Only reaches people declined for insufficient funds. Old red design. Everyone else leaves the flow on day 2. |
Klaviyo credits this flow with 176 payments ($1,258.40) against 31 clicks. The payment count exceeding the click count is consistent with Stripe's automatic retries succeeding; it does not show that the emails caused the payments.
It also catches trials whose first charge fails. 7,055 trial users have ended that way, and those people get the same Discord emails instead of a way to pay.

Email 1 is 17 images, 11 of them linking to the same YouTube tutorial. Today a trial user gets one email and no warning before the scheduled charge.
The full copy is in the trial emails brief. In short:
| When | Subject | Button | Goes to |
|---|---|---|---|
| At once | Two minutes to your first Boost | Download Hypertune | Installer |
| Day 2, run status unknown | Try Hypertune before your trial ends | Open Hypertune, or Download Hypertune | The app, or Installer |

| Day 2, already run | See what changed on your PC | Run a benchmark | The app |
| Day 6 | Your trial ends on {{ trial end date }} | Manage my plan | Account |
Needs Kamil: installer link; an app-run event for the day-2 split; trial end date, plan price and billing period on the profile. Keep a live flow filter for no trial cancellation since entering, so a cancelled trial cannot receive the ending notice.
IB // Account created · Rwzvi6
The trigger is joining the segment "IB // Profiles", which is simply "can receive email". It is not a sign-up event. A new or newly unsuppressed profile can qualify, but a profile that already entered cannot re-enter under the once-ever flow setting.

Every email sells a free trial, though the trial left the default checkout on 5 August. Austin's rule from 25 Sep: people who didn't come through the trial link don't get trial emails. The free month is dropped.

Build notes: Delete "Quick question...", the day-3 generic email, both free-month emails and the "manual service" email. No email asks why they left: the survey already did. Kamil confirms GAMER's duration and eligible plans before the 50% copy goes live.

The same five branches, wait, exit, re-entry and settings as the trial flow, but triggered by a paid subscription cancellation. Two differences: every email opens by thanking them for paying, and people on an early price are told what they lose.
Opening line for every branch:
Hi there,
>
Thanks for being a Hypertune subscriber. Your current plan end date is {{ person.plan_end_date }}.
Extra line for anyone on an early-bird price, only after Kamil confirms the restart rule:
You're on our early price. If you change your mind before {{ person.plan_end_date }}, you keep it. After that, rejoining is at today's price.
Button for that group: Keep my plan · Account. Everyone else gets the branch button from the trial flow.
Survey answers from paying subscribers since 21 August (718 answers): didn't give me performance 37%, not using it enough 21%, too expensive 19%, other 17%, ran into a bug 6%.
Build notes: the "too expensive" branch uses the same 50% copy, reworded from "trial" to "plan". Needs Kamil: plan end date and whether they're on an early-bird price, on the profile; confirm that a cancelled plan can be restarted before its end date at the same price.
Nothing in Klaviyo. Stripe's own reminder is believed to be on; Austin to confirm. 1,811 early-bird yearly subscribers start renewing in November.
